The Yamaha XSR700 Legacy Edition is a special version of the XSR700 motorcycle that was released in 2021 to celebrate Yamaha's 65th anniversary. It is based on the standard XSR700 but features a number of unique styling elements and design touches. The XSR700 Legacy Edition is inspired by Yamaha's iconic XS650 motorcycle, which was first introduced in 1969. It features a special metallic red and black color scheme, with gold striping and classic Yamaha logos. The fuel tank is finished in brushed aluminum, and the seat has a classic tuck-and-roll design. Mechanically, the XSR700 Legacy Edition is identical to the standard XSR700. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 689cc, parallel-twin engine that produces around 73 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque. It has a six-speed transmission and a slipper clutch, and features a lightweight steel frame and an adjustable suspension system. Like the standard XSR700, the Legacy Edition features LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and a range of accessories that allow riders to customise their bike to their liking. However, the unique styling elements of the Legacy Edition give it a distinctive and eye-catching appearance that sets it apart from the standard model.
